Your adventure begins aboard a twin-engine Bell 429 helicopter, lifting off for an unforgettable aerial tour spanning Napa Valley's world-famous AVAs. Guided by vineyard owner, grape grower, and storyteller Chris Morisoli, you'll soar over the rugged volcanic hills of Calistoga to the cool southern reaches of Coombsville, along the Eastern Vaca Range and down the western benchlands of the Mayacamas. As you fly above the valley's most storied vineyards, Chris will narrate the landscape in real time, sharing the history and shifts in soil, elevation, and microclimates that shape the wines from this remarkable winegrowing region.
A fifth-generation grape grower, current U.S. Army UH-60 "Black Hawk" Instructor Pilot, and vintner, Chris offers a perspective few can match. Guests will experience Napa Valley from above while tracing the dramatic evolution of terroir from north to south.
After landing, guests will be transported to Morisoli Vineyard in Rutherford, where the experience continues with a tour, Old Vine Study, private wine tasting, and casual vineyard lunch hosted by Chris and Italian Chef Massimo Boldrini, alongside friends and neighbors Coco Lopez of Scarecrow and Graeme MacDonald of MacDonald Vineyard.

About Your Host & Aircraft: Chris Morisoli is a fifth-generation Napa Valley grape grower, vintner, and U.S. Army UH-60 Black Hawk Instructor Pilot. Your aircraft is a twin-engine Bell 429 helicopter, provided by PJ Helicopters, a Part 135 Air Charter Company and industry leader in VIP, firefighting, and utility helicopter operations. The gourmet Italian lunch is catered by Chef Massimo Boldrini of Riva Cucina and the Rutherford Fire Department.
