VERTICAL LIMIT: A 20-YEAR SPOTTSWOODE ESTATE CABERNET RETRO

Beth Novak | Spottswoode Estate | Dan Petroski | K. Laz Social Club
Six guests, six voices, twenty years of Spottswoode Cabernet Sauvignon

Taste twenty years of Napa Valley history in a single evening. This vertical of Spottswoode Estate Cabernet Sauvignon spans vintages from 2004 through the current release, guided by the people who shaped one of the valley's most revered estates.

Owner Beth Novak hosts, joined by current winemaker Aaron Weinkauf and former Spottswoode winemakers Jennifer Williams and Rosemary Cakebread, with Napa Valley winemaker Dan Petroski also at the table. Together they lead six guests through a candid conversation about the wines, the vintages, and the decisions behind each one. Few tastings offer this many perspectives on a single estate in one room.

When the last glass is poured, a chef-curated dinner awaits at the soon-to-open Vintners Social Club by K. LAZ in Yountville. Throughout the meal, additional bottles of Spottswoode Cabernet Sauvignon continue to open, including rare 750ml and large-format selections dating back to the early 1990s.

This is a rare chance to experience the full arc of an iconic estate, told by the winemakers themselves. Six seats. One unforgettable evening.
